Rally (“we”, “us”) operates the Rally mobile application (the “App”). This policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the App during our closed beta in the Los Angeles area.

Information we collect

  • **Account information:** Email address and profile details you provide (display name, sport preferences, optional photo, payment note if you choose to add one).
  • **Location information:** With your permission, we collect device location to show nearby games and map features. Before you are confirmed on a game, Discover and the map may show approximate distance and fuzzed pin positions.
  • **Activity and social data:** Information you submit when creating or joining games and Rallies (crews), friend requests, chat messages, reviews, and roster status (e.g. “I'm in”, lock roster).
  • **Device information:** Push notification tokens and basic diagnostic data needed to deliver notifications and keep the App reliable.
  • **Crash and error data:** If enabled in a build, we may use third-party crash reporting (e.g. Sentry) to diagnose failures. Crash reports may include device type, OS version, and stack traces—not your chat content.

    • How we use information

  • To provide game discovery, Rally crews, scheduling, chat, notifications, invites, and trust/safety features in the App.
  • To communicate with you about your account or important service updates.
  • To monitor abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with applicable law.

    • Sharing

    We use service providers that process data on our instructions, including:

  • **Supabase** — authentication, database, and server functions
  • **Firebase / Apple Push Notification service** — push delivery
  • **Google Play services / Apple** — app distribution and device services
  • **Sentry** (when enabled) — crash reporting

    • We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users. We do not sell your personal information.

    Your choices

  • **Location:** You can disable location permissions in device settings; some features may not work.
  • **Notifications:** You can disable push notifications in device settings or in the App where available.

    • Children

    The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

    International users

    Rally is currently focused on users in the United States. If you use the App from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

    Changes

    We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
